When not blogging, I am Research Director for IndexCreditCards.com, a Web site offering credit card comparison data, plus credit-related tips and information to help consumers and small business people make more informed credit card choices. Blogging on personal finance is a natural extension of my other professional pursuits. Personally, I'm a married (10 years), mid-30s guy with two pre-schoolers living in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. I've both worked in an office and been self-employed, have owned three homes and rented two apartments in three different cities, have more pets than is manageable, like to read, am a bit obsessive about my music collection, and used to be in much better shape before my kids were born.
