Would You Buy Your Kid Used Underwear?

This post at Wise Bread reminded me of a garage sale I once went to where the people were selling their kids' used underwear, (or "underpants" as my Mom says, a word I find disgusting).

At the time, I found the thought of buying a kid used underwear gross, and I haven't changed that opinion. In fact, having my own kids just reinforces it. I love my kids, they're cute and cuddly and say funny things, but on the hygiene tip-forget about it. Their idea of wiping their butts is sliding some toilet paper along the side of their thigh, and they're always wandering away from the toilet before the pee is done coming out. I would never consider selling their underwear to someone; in fact, I'm going to go burn a few pairs of them right now so there's no chance of my wife getting any smart ideas from this post.

Am I wrong about this? Is it a guy thing versus a girl thing? Are people snapping up OKU (Other Kids Underwear) at bargain prices to put on their own offspring? Does this idea disturb you as much as it disturbs me?

(BTW, above is a picture of fine new boys underwear from hanes, which you can buy 6 to a pack for $11. I know that doesn't compare to the 45 cents that same 6 pairs would cost you at a garage sale, but don't let your frugalness get the best of you!)
