The William Shatner Stock Index
Via Ka-Blog!, I learned of the Paris Hilton Stock Index and the Lindsay Lohan Stock Index, both cooked up on Stockerblog.

The main gist is that stocks related to these two were bunched together a la a stock index, and tracked over time, paying special attention to when Lohan went into rehab and when Hilton went to jail to see how these events affected the indexes. For example, Lohan's index included Mattel (which makes the Lindsay Lohan doll) and Viacom (whose Paramount Pictures made Lohan's Mean Girls movie).

While I'm too lazy to construct other such stock indexes myself, I've been trying to think of some I could suggest to Stockerblog.

My first candidate is William Shatner.

This guy's done everything. You've got the Star Trek show and all its spinoff paraphernalia, conventions, etc., plus his many cheeseball endorsements, most notably for Priceline, plus he's hooked up with pro wrestling in there, and a very successful show today in Boston Legal.

I can't keep track of who owns who anymore, so I don't know which stocks jibe with Shatner's career, but he's definitely deserving.

Who else deserves their own stock index?
