Should you Increase your Position in Gold?

Most followers of gold believe we will probably have a correction sometime soon. Of course this will be a great opportunity to buy.

The Prudent Investor comments that:

"Seeing the yellow metal taking out the $550 high with ease on the back of geopoliticallinks worries still stuns me. I have been waiting for a 4-5% correction since gold broke the $500 mark and always advised to add to your position on dips but never attempt to try and short this market. If you followed this advice you are probably in the same position as me right now."

I don't believe we are going to see any type of type of pullback of gold for a long time. But as with all investing we must keep the long-term outlook in mind and not be too concerned with short-term fluctuations.

Keep that in mind and gold should perform great for you in the turbulent times we live in.

Sirchartsalot supplies this chart to show the rise of gold since September of 2005.
