Save Money on Groceries with a Discount Card

Many grocery stores have little cards that can be scanned and will give the buyer a discount on some of their items. If you do not already have one for the store you shop at most, you certainly should get one. These cards will usually enable you to get a larger savings than what you could get just on the sale price alone. This makes them worth carrying and they will let you save money on groceries.

Small independent stores will probably not have them, but you can ask about it at the check out. This is just another way to save money. Also, you may have special coupons printed out for you when you get your receipt.
