Save Money on Gas and Groceries

You can save money on your groceries just by not having to go to the store as often. Even if you stick to your list and don't go when you are hungry, if you go grocery shopping for just one item - you are not saving money. It is lost to the gas that you used to get to the store.

Make fewer trips to the store and do not allow yourself to run out of key items - such as toilet paper, breads, and pasta. Meal planning can help you avoid spending more on gas and less time at the grocery store, too. Grocery stores are geared up to sell people who aimlessly wander around the store without a good idea of what they are looking for. Save money by knowing the game and by knowing what you want and need - then stick to it.
