As I have mentioned several times, there are many ways to save money. One way is to reduce your electric bill. Here are some money saving tips about how to do just that.
1. Become Energy Conscious
If you think about it, there are already probably a few things that you could turn off more often than you do – such as lights when you walk out of a room. It is not necessary to leave lights on in a room that you are not in. Turn the TV off if you are not going to be there to watch it.
2. Unplug Electronic Devices When Not in Use
Many electronic devices use some electricity – even when they are not being used. This applies to computers, TV's, DVD players and more. Generally, if it has a remote – it is costing you to leave it plugged in.

3. Buy Energy-saving Appliances
When you need to buy another appliance – or even a computer, be sure to look for one that has energy ratings on it. By getting the right one, you can save money over a long period of time.
4. Turn your Heating and Water Thermostats Down
Check your heat levels on your thermostats and make sure that you are not using too much energy heating your home or water. Both units will eat up electricity and it will cost you. By turning both down to a lower setting you will notice that you have are saving money. Save even more if you lower your heating thermostat when you go to bed.
5. Wash Clothes and Dry Only with Full Loads
If you have children, you want to wait until your washing machine and dryer have full loads to work with. Don't use them for just a handful of items. Save money by using them fewer times but with larger loads.
