Not everyone's as angry as that guy on the left…

It's a penalty put in place by the banking industry that not only punishes those who have mismanaged debt (its intended purpose), but also punishes those who refuse to play by the lending industry's rules–that is, those who don't fatten the pockets of banks by having and managing debt. If you don't pay them, they'll hurt you … sort of like mob tactics."
