Of interest to the financial-minded, starting with thoughts on gas (as in, fuel):
1. Great article from Jennifer Openshaw about putting gas prices in perspective -- a snippet: "A gallon of milk is $3.29 at my grocery. At last, gasoline -- made from a nonrenewable resource imported in many cases from halfway around the world -- is almost as expensive. A gallon of Coke in 12-ounce cans will set you back 5 bucks; a gallon of domestic beer is almost $9. Why, a gallon of drinking water in 16-ounce bottles is almost $7."
2. Think those gas prices are keeping 'em home for Memorial Day? Think again.
3. GM's offering gas credits to certain buyers in Florida and California. There's a catch.
4. Immigrants are more likely to start businesses than native-born Americans.
5. Is living off your parents for a while after college such a bad thing? I say no.
6. LuckyRobin not so lucky -- these are the things that kill our financial resolve.
7. Some love for the dentist and preventive maintenance.
8. Someone found a 6% raise sitting in his mailbox.
9. A reminder about compound interest.
10. MasterCard IPO set be bigger than Google's.
