ANYONE with determination, skills, knowledge and training can get to the position that they want if they really work toward that goal. I wasn't born an executive, I didn't have key connections to getting higher paid positions; I simply worked my way up with hard work and determination.
The part of me that wants to shave off every cent that I can from the electric bill does not want a light, however small and inexpensive to run, to be purposely left on all night. The part of me that thinks that getting a child used to having a soft comforting light will contribute to a fear of the dark later in life, says get used to the night kid.
…none of us knows the date we'll die, but you can assume that if you make it to 65, you have a darned good shot of making it to 83. And if you're a couple who makes it to 65, there's close to a 40 percent chance you'll make it to 90.
