Speech! Speech!

Jeremy Siegel:

Sell-offs understandably scare investors and garner much media attention. But history has shown that they're excellent buying opportunities.

Given the reasonable levels of today's stock markets, I advise investors to remain internationally diversified and stay with stocks.

Single Ma:

I've been extremely busy at work lately. When this happens, my misc. expenses skyrocket. I eat out more, I tend to be more impulsive and I pay very little attention to price. My time is limited, so I go in the store, grab what I need (plus whatever looks pretty in passing), and get out. Time saved, but my wallet suffers.

George Gombossy:

Best Buy is now confirming my reporting that its stores have a secret intranet site that has been used to block some consumers from getting cheaper prices advertised on bestbuy.com.

Warren Buffett (in his annual shareholders letter):

I intend to hire a younger man or woman with the potential to manage a very large portfolio, who we hope will succeed me as Berkshire's chief investment officer when the need for someone to do that arises.
