Via The Consumerist:

Delta says the mother of infant conjoined twins need to buy an extra seat, because each child has her own set of lungs and needs separate emergency oxygen masks, then changes its mind when a reporter calls. So which is it?

From a reader of Money, Matter & More Musings:

And what bothers me the most about some pf blogs (which I have been planning to write a post about for some time now) is the self righteous, inflexible, and what I consider to be unrealistic attitude some bloggers bring to the table of "If you don't succeed, or if you say you can't do some thing, it is because you are a) lazy b)don't really want it bad enough c) want others to pick up the slack for you, etc. and certainly not because real life circumstances exist that make certain achievements impossible under certain conditions." Reasons for such people's struggles are referred to by these types of bloggers as "excuses."

Get Rich Slick:

I used to scheme to get the lowest cost item by using rebates, coupons, discounts, wait for sales, etc., now I buy what I want when I want it.

I used to buy beer to drown my sorrow and depression at not having any money, now I buy expensive wine to celebrate my successes.

I used to take "vacations" back home and flea bag motels, now I take vacations around the world at some of the best hotels and resorts.
