Worth your time:

1. Good article from good morning america's Mellody Hobson on just how good or bad the economy is doing right now, especially in light of the recent stock market free fall.

2. Just who lives in those miliion-dollar homes?

3. A good article on how two-cycle credit card billing can lead to finance charges even when you have no balance.

4. I like this idea of trying to change financial habits for 30 days instead of forever, because of course if you can change for 30 days it's likely that you've tricked your mind into changing permanently.

5. If you've heard of the film "Maxed Out" that documents the perils of our debt-choked nation, or even if you haven't, you'll want to read this.

6. I learned of a new personal finance podcast I need to check out: Pro Money Talk.

7. Savvy Saver is investing in real estate, and this post makes me want to keep track of how this investment pans out (I like to learn from others' triumphs or failures).

8. iTunes only work on an iPod. Is that unfair to consumers who buy the tunes?
