Oliver Clothesoff and Other Money-Related Halloween Costumes

A guy I used to work with invited me to his Halloween party one year. When he answered the door he was wearing a white leisure suit, sort of like Don Knotts used to wear when he was on Three's Company, and he had wads of fake cash in all the pockets. He looked like some sort of international playboy. I asked him who he was.

"Oliver"

"Oliver who?"

"Oliver Clothesoff."

(It took me a second to get it, so if you need help it's supposed to sound like "all of her clothes off".)

Pretty silly, but memorable. At the very least, it's a good knock-knock joke.

Anyway, remembering this creative costume, I decided to come up with a few more Halloween costume ideas that might have a money-related theme. My suggestions, most of which will require very little money from you:

Donald Trump -- This is all in the hair. Get a suit, fix your hair up like The Donald, and say "You're fired!" a lot.

Steve Wynn -- The rich owner of many Las Vegas casinos recently put his elbow through a $159 million Picasso painting. To make this costume, wear a suit, get a cheap painting, make a hole in it and fit it around your elbow. If anyone at the Halloween party says "you have a painting on your elbow", you say "such a pity, it will now only be worth the $39 million I originally paid for it."

Gordon Gekko - This one never goes out of style. Slick back the hair, get some suspenders and say "greed is good" a lot.

Richard Hatch - Remember the guy that won the first year of Survivor by going naked on the island and disgusting his opponents? He ended up in jail for tax evasion. Get naked, paint white and black pinstripes on your body in the style of an old-time jail jumpsuit, and attend the party. Observe how quickly you are thrown out.

Sacajawea Dollar - Dress like a native American, then spray paint yourself gold. (Alternatively, dress like an old white lady and spray paint yourself silver. Go as the Susan B. Anthony Dollar.)

I could do this all day, but counting Oliver Clothesoff, that's 6 good Halloween costume ideas for you. Can you think of any others?
