Liquidity is never false
Filed in archive Banking by andy on March 23, 2005
It's always advisable to have a few months worth of expenses liquid, for those just in case moments. Fine, but what's the best way to keep the money?

I suggest taking a look at some of the online banks that offer really competitive rates on savings accounts. Two in particular are EmigrantDirect.com and ING Direct.

The account opening and cash management procedures are real simple. It's a no brainer if you can't find similarly competitive rates locally.
