Invest in Tiger Woods (Well, Sort Of)
Tigerlinks Woods is the face used to sell lots of things, but municipal bonds? I know Bono just bought into Forbes, but this is getting ridiculous.

Well, the story's a bit different in this case:
The Tiger Woods Learning Center Foundation, which offers science and math classes to children along with related career- oriented programs, is to sell $10.78 million of variable-rate municipal bonds today through the California Statewide Communities Development Authority...

Proceeds from the offering will pay off the $10.6 million construction loan, according to bond sale documents. McLaughlin said the bonds will be repaid from part of the $25 million raised to build and operate the facility, which will serve about 8,000 students this year.

So there's some potential to make an investment that'll make you feel good at the same time. Unfortunately, Tiger won't be calling you up to thank you.
