Individual 401(k)

If you're a lone wolf, someone who is truly self-employed, I hope you're taking advantage of the Individual 401(k). Sometimes called the UniK, SoloK etc., this is a 401(k) just like the Fortune 500 companies offer their people. The huge upsides are (1) it is extremely low cost to establish and maintain; and (2) it allows for healthy retirement savings.
A perfect candidate would be someone like a manufacturers rep - you work on your own and have no employees (other than your spouse which is allowed).
If you fit the bill and aren't using this or haven't been Exposed
to it you should do youself a favor and look into.Permalink: Individual 401(k)
