Greatest Hits

One of the downsides of blogging software is that for the most part it's strictly chronological–where your posts end up is based on when you wrote them, with your "major" posts randomly sprinkled among your not-so-major posts. Chunking things up into subject areas helps, but it still doesn't quite do the job.

So I created this "Greatest Hits" post, which brings together what I feel are the best posts from this blog. I've divided them up into informative posts (information on a particular subject) and essay posts (tending toward philosophy more than concrete information).
