Caught in a Speed Trap

I have been a bad blogger this month, but I expect to get better soon, due to some family issues that are clearing up. One of these family issues has inadvertently cost me some money, and I'm afraid it's going to cost me even more.

I have been using a main road to travel back and forth to a hospital over the last couple of months, and to my surprise I find that this particular road has a camera set up that catches speeders on film & then mails you a picture of yourself being bad, along with a demand for money.

I don't like the idea of a camera watching me as I drive, but what I like even less is that the ticket I received for speeding was for an incident that happened over a month ago. Well, truth be told, I've been speeding down that road every day for a month. Am I going to get 20 speeding tickets for each time the camera caught me? If so, is it fair to send someone a speeding ticket a month after the incident and keep sending more, without giving that person a chance to change his/her ways? If I was stopped by a police officer on that same stretch of road, chances are I would've been on my best behavior afterwards. But the camera's a different story, because I never knew it was there.

I could be in deep trouble here. It's been a while since I've challenged the Constitutionality of a law, but if I find myself hit up for a couple thousand dollars in speeding tickets, you can bet I'm not going to take it lying down.
