Caught in a Speed Trap

I have been using a main road to travel back and forth to a hospital over the last couple of months, and to my surprise I find that this particular road has a camera set up that catches speeders on film & then mails you a picture of yourself being bad, along with a demand for money.
I don't like the idea of a camera watching me as I drive, but what I like even less is that the ticket I received for speeding was for an incident that happened over a month ago. Well, truth be told, I've been speeding down that road every day for a month. Am I going to get 20 speeding tickets for each time the camera caught me? If so, is it fair to send someone a speeding ticket a month after the incident and keep sending more, without giving that person a chance to change his/her ways? If I was stopped by a police officer
on that same stretch of road, chances are I would've been on my best behavior afterwards. But the camera's a different story, because I never knew it was there.I could be in deep trouble here. It's been a while since I've challenged the Constitutionality of a law, but if I find myself hit up for a couple thousand dollars in speeding tickets, you can bet I'm not going to take it lying down.
