Buy Food in Bulk and Save Money

Buying food in bulk is another great way to save money. Buying food in a larger volume often enables you to cut costs over the long run because most stores give a volume discount.

You should be aware, however, that not all stores do this. This means that you will need to look at the cost per pound (or whatever measurement is used) for the smaller sizes and for the larger sizes. Some stores actually charge more - knowing that people will think they are getting a better deal.

Saving money will require that even though you are buying in bulk that you still seek to stay within your budget. Overspending on your grocery budget just because of great deals still means you blew your budget - and you can't save money that way.
