Small windfalls can ocassionally help you on the road to successfully managing your personal finances. But it depends on what you do with the money.

What would you do with extra money this month? You make fifty (or maybe a hundred) extra dollars at a yard sale. Time for a movie and a nice restaurant? Maybe new shoes? Those are easy temptations if you find an extra Benjamin in your pocket.
