Bank of America Rocks the House

Inside the walls of Corporate America (and in financial blogging circles), there are a lot of frustrated entertainers. Sure we might work as, oh I don't know, marketing directors for Bank of America's credit card division, but, given the chance, we can show our co-workers that we were meant for so much more. When we get that chance, we seize it with all our heart, and the result looks a little something like this:

In the old days, an ill-advised, cringe-inducing performance such as this may have gotten us a few snickers in the hallways, but that would've been about it. In the age of the Internet, however, it wins us viral fame, so much so that a semi-famous comedian named David Cross does a cover version of our peformance in his act and, by delivering it with the same sincerity we did, he brings down the house:

And suddenly we start thinking about auditioning for American Idol, just as we knew we should have from the beginning, if only Corporate America had not stomped on our dreams for all these years.
