You may have discussed the Alternatvie Minimum Tax with your tax preparer. You may have been subject to the tax. You may not know what it is. You better get familiar with it because the number of taxpayers subject to it is expected to explode.
This is a good place to start your education. Even if you rely solely on a tax preparer it's good to know just what the AMT is all about.
